If you drag a file or folder from explorer into a command prompt/MS DOS box, it'll paste the full path for you.

Only works if you dont have a flaptop and have direct access to the plus key ;-)
Also useful is that you can set up IE to search direct from the taskbar. I just type "g [search]" and it does the whole google search for me. Since I have an address bar on my task bar I can do searches without even opening up a browser. I am such a geek. Shoot me.

The excellent K-Meleon (home page) doesn't even need the ctrl+enter bit.
Finds www.google.com from entering 'google' in the address bar, and www.bbc.co.uk from just 'bbc'.
K-Meleon also lets you specify the UserAgent string your browser dumps in server logfiles every time you visit a page, adding some humour to the day of whoever trawls through the site stats...

The standard mac browers (IE, OmniWeb, Mozilla, Netscape, etc) will automatically prepend www. and postpend (is that a word?) .com to any single word you put in the address bar.
And there are all sorts of other goodies, too, like how option-clicking in OmniWeb (shift-option-clicking in IE 5.2) will open links in a new window behind the current window...

I knew that shortcut, but never use it. As for Frankensteings one about opening popups behind, um Opera does that automagically.
Personally, for most everyday use, I stick with Opera or Mozilla. But that's just personal preference really.

yeah - there are a few things. Like , control + your mouse scroll wheel will reduce or enlarge the text on the page. (Unless it's been hard-coded using CSS. This has an interesting effect on notsosft.com/blog - the only thing that gets bigger / smaller is the bullet points on this posting http://www.notsosoft.com/blog/2002_09_01_x.shtml#85466842 quite a strange effect!)
You can shift-click a link in IE and it will open in a new window. Shift-click in Netscape will download the linked page/file to your hard drive, but control click will open it in a new window...

Ah yes, but IE does it instantly on ctrl+enter, wheras Mozilla (browser of choice here) searches locally or something before appending www. and .com .
Relieved to find someone else who didn't know that trick, and yet somehow thought they would. I picked it up off someone last year, and it was an entirely unexpected person.
Of course, I then stopped using IE.

Crazy Browser ( http://www.crazybrowser.com ) lets you type a word in the address bar and hit Alt+Enter to kick off a google search of that word. Plus it has tabbed browser windows (all your browsing done in the same browser window, even with lots of sites open), blocks popups perfectly, runs alongside IE sharing favorites, etc., and is completely no-ads and free.
Sorry, kind of got carried away there.

If I hold down CTRL , ALT, F5, the letter M and Return on a Mac, then click on a link, it makes my browser crash like Ayrton Senna.

RE: IE - The Swedish IE 6 added .sv to the end instead of .com. Annnoyingly there is no way to change it to .com without installing the US version of IE. Nothing obvious in the registry (not that worked anyway).
browselc.dll was prime suspect but we got bored and rebuilt the machine then, so I guess we'll never know...
